Set Sail cutter suction dredger's (CSD) suction tube has a cutting mechanism at the suction inlet. The cutting mechanism loosens the bed material and transports it to the suction mouth. The material is usually sucked up by a wear-resistant centrifugal pump and discharged either through a pipe line or to a barge. cutter suction dredger main components introduce :
26 inch cutter motor is hydraulic driven low speed and high torque heavy duty design. The cutter motor is installed on the cutter front piece on the ladder end. A special cover is provided to protect the hydraulic motor from damage due to sand .rocks and debris. The cover can be removed from easy inspection and maintenance.
26 inch cutter suctin dredger ladder winch and side pull winch, two winches are provided on the front of the main pontoon The winch is hydraulically driven through a reduction gearbox build in the winch structure. The winch is operated from the control cabin and has variable speed.

The impeller is fitted on the shaft by trapezoid thread directly machine on the shaft end. The shaft sealing is a water cooled sealing that can be replaced after wear life. The pump casing has a shape of a volute designed of a high efficiency and wear life optimized tested in laboratory and onboard of dredgers. The pump liners are made of high wear resistant materials and thick wall thickness to maximize the wear life. The casting covers are made from fabricated steel stiffened where necessary and machining to fit the case and the liners.
